Digital Technology is deeply embedded in teaching and learning at Dowerin District High School. Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, and students have access to a wide range of digital devices, including one-to-one iPads or laptops, which are integrated into daily lessons across all learning areas. Our teachers are skilled in using a variety of educational applications and follow evidence-based frameworks to enhance student engagement and promote higher-order thinking.
The school also provides access to advanced technological tools such as 3D printers, BeeBots, Spike Prime and Edison Robots, ensuring students are equipped with the digital literacy and problem-solving skills needed for the future. Clear expectations are in place regarding the responsible use of technology, fostering a safe and productive digital learning environment.
